Cross-border payment dispute
A Singapore distributor was in dispute with a European supplier over rejected goods and withheld payments. The contract contained a Singapore arbitration clause, but the client had never been through the process before.
What We Did
We assessed the contract and correspondence, advised on prospects, and prepared a statement of claim for SIAC under the expedited procedure. We coordinated three factual witnesses and responded to the counterclaim.
Outcome
The matter settled by agreement before the hearing date. The client recovered a substantial portion of the withheld payments. Total timeline: approximately five months.

Challenge
E-commerce platform launch in Singapore
An operator launching a multi-seller marketplace needed their terms, privacy policy, and seller agreement reviewed ahead of go-live. Their existing documents were drafted for a different jurisdiction.
What We Did
We reviewed all three documents against Singapore's CPFTA, PDPA, and ETA requirements. We redrafted key sections and added required disclosures, then prepared a compliance checklist for the operations team.
